Nestled against the Seetal Alp massif, the town of Judenburg towers over the surrounding Murtal. The 75.66 m tower has a 42-metre-high viewing platform, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire Aichfeld basin. In 2006 the tower was turned into the present Sternenturm planetarium. Zeiss technology allows you to immerse yourself in exciting 3D films and explore the infinite universe.
Judenburg is surrounded by countryside, which offers on wonderful hikes and bike rides around the River Mur Cycle Trail. It is also worth visiting one of the thermal spas - the Erlebnisbad Judenburg or the Aqualux Therme Fohnsdorf. Car fans and petrolheads will find what they are looking for at the Puch Museum. Both young and old will find fascinating exhibits from the Puch 500, known affectionately as the “Pucherl”, in all the colours of the rainbow to historic bicycles and jewels of the moped and motorcycle industry. The Stadtmuseum presents collections of exhibits from the history of Judenburg. Visitors will find an overview of the mediaeval and modern city topography as well as important milestones in the history of Judenburg.
