Tasty Lurgrotte
Here you can experience a unique culinary event: "Tasty Lurgrotte".
The Lurgrotte is undoubtedly a highlight among Austria's caves. As the largest active water cave in the country, it attracts visitors from all over the world and is located only about 25 kilometres north of Graz. The cave crosses the karst area of Tanneben, which lies between the towns of Semriach and Peggau.
Visitors have the opportunity to experience the Lurgrotte in a very special way. Together with a cave guide, you are led through the cave, which lies around 200 metres below the earth's surface. During the tour, you can enjoy "nine exclusive courses" of culinary delicacies that are stylishly matched to the stalactite formations. And of course, the matching wines are not to be missed.
The symbiosis of cuisine, stone and wine promises a sensational and unique taste experience in one of the most beautiful stalactite caves in the world. As a crowning finale, there is a special highlight from the OFYR at the cave entrance, which will make the tour an unforgettable experience.
