The Styriarte programme ranges from Fux`Baroque opera to Freddy Mercury.

The theme for Styriarte 2023 ties in with its major project of recent years, the rediscovery of Johann Joseph Fux’s master operas. Another Fux opera starts the season here with Costanza e fortezza conducted by Alfredo Bernardini. The programme ranges from Baroque victors such as Handel’s Julius Caesar to the broken heroes of Franz Schubert’s Romanticism to the incarnate heroines of the
